One of Black Ops 6’s most overpowered attachments has received a buff with some quiet changes that you may have missed.
Even though weapon tuning has been done away with, Call of Duty’s create-a-class system still allows for some big customization options for different weapons.
Picking the right attachments is key to winning gunfights and games in multiplayer, and as a result, they go through plenty of changes of their own. These tweaks can come alongside the big seasonal updates where a raft of weapons go through the buffs and nerfs process, or via hotfixes to address those more annoying add-ons.

The LMG Belt-Fed attachment just got a huge buff.

Call of Duty guru XclusiveAce backed this up too, revealing that PU-21, XMG, GPMG-7, and Feng 82 all have increased rounds before overheating numbers.
Their overheating periods have been changed too, with the PU-21’s increasing to 4.9 seconds, the XMG coming down to 5 seconds, the GPMG-7 is now 4.75 seconds, and the Feng 82 is up to 4.78 seconds.

With such a change being made prior to the new season, it seems unlikely that they will be tweaked at all in the new update. However, we’ll have to wait and see what comes on April 2.
